Modern day life is demanding the yachtsman therefore requires more versatility and range from his sailing leisure time.  Lifting keel yachts open up a world of possibilities, denied to most conventional yachts in many areas.  For 25 years Parker’s have developed a unique yacht range focusing on key concepts such as all round sailing performance, advanced lift keel design and construction.

The results – a range of yachts with remarkable shallow draft capability, incredible off shore sailing performance and all round stability.  So whether cruising in deep water or shallow estuaries they are equally at home on the scenic peaceful drying out mooring or at sea with the rest.

Our customers gain a unique partnership, customised build quality, customer consultation on interior and exterior requirements and a build policy that gives value for money and maintains a high resale value, all factors that are key in owning and enjoying your sailing experience.

With our considerable experience and reputation in building International racing dinghies over a period of 45 years we were appointed the RYA sole licensed builder for the National Squib Class in 1997.  This 2 man open cockpit racing keelboat has almost 840 boats established in strong fleets throughout the UK and Ireland.  The Parker Squib has achieved an enviable reputation for its quality build finish with numerous racing successes in National Championships and Regattas.

Sandhopper Class

This design utilises the Squib hull, deck & interior and was designed for sailing in shallow water areas to be able to dry-out on sand and gravel, it incorporates a different rig and the hull has a shallower, heavier keel and two GRP skegs, this together with a fixed squared rudder allows it to comfortably dry-out upright. There are active Classes in the Thames estuary and the south coast areas.  The Parker Sandhopper has achieved as enviable reputation for their quality & finish with numerous racing successes.
